This program can visualise the virtual sky paths of the sun in space, and in projection at any geographical point of the Earth. It can unify the virtual sky with photographs for designing purpose to determine the optimal insolation and shading to defend the buildings against overheating or for the optimal solar orientation of sun collectors.

Determining insolation is the only tool in case of important decisions considering energetic and physiological viewpoints. Natural light is biologically controls the state of health of living organisms. Production of vital hormones is enhanced or reduced by our organisms according to the changes in the amount of sun light.

Creating the favourable insolation conditions in architecturally closed spaces inevitable because the population of civilised countries spends 80-90% of its daily life in spaces enclosed from sun light. Our organisms addicted to a daily dose of sunlight suffers a dramatic change from artificial light. Artificial light enables us only to see but it misses the wavelengths from it's spectrums which are inevitable for the conditioning of our immune systems. Our hormonal production will be as disturbed as the spectrum of light differs from sun's spectrum. There is no such illuminating device exists which is capable to replace natural light. Artificial lighting is harmful to us so the creation of sufficient insolation of architectural spaces is inevitable.

Insolation can be examined at a chosen point of the room if we project the opening - trough which the light comes in - on to the sky. The expected sun light duration can be read from the red coloured sun paths lying within the contour lines of the openings on the sky. The program includes the geographical coordinates of the inland settlements and automatically modifies the local time to the sidereal time pertaining that place. Summer time can be turned on.

The angle of incidence of sunbeams arriving on to the glassed surface can be studied if we turn on the incidence protractor. The substantive quality of the insolation of the place depends on the angle of incidence.

The beams steeper than 60 degrees are not truly coming trough so for insolation and for the collectors these are irrelevant and they do not cause overheating.

The true efficiency of the glassed opening can be controlled if we compile the image of the shading object or balcony over the opening. As you can see, the facade opening on the layout, seemingly capable of light admission - in truth not able to satisfy our expectations because the part of the vault with the largest area of light density became covered. Only in case of insolation dissection will we be able to make the right decision and carry out the changes needed.

If we have the spatial data, the sky projected image of the environmental objects of the planned building or the insolation of the chosen point can be studied and compiled. The program offers a possibility based on a photographic process for the visualisation of environments with more complex silhouettes.

The photo of the examined environment can be unified with the sunpaths of the sky. Than the free sky outline can be visualised.
